Well the Ryder Cup has arrived. One of the biggest weeks in the golfing calendar is finally here and I cannot wait to watch it unfold over the weekend. My hunch is that Europe are strong favourites but we all know how tight the matches usually are so it will be exciting as usual.
Masters Mug
This weekend sees the culmination of our competitive season at the club with the Masters Mug which is the event where all the tournament winners throughout the year compete. Best of luck to all the competitors and congratulations for qualifying.
Pro-am and Alliance
Last week was a very busy week at the club with us hosting both the Norfolk Alliance and our annual East Region PGA Pro-am. Both events went really well but unfortunately me, Michael and Tom were not at the top of the leaderboard.
New Pro-Shop Team Member
Tom Clements has now started work in the Pro Shop and is about to embark on his Foundation Degree course with the PGA. I sure you will join me in wishing him well his career as a professional golfer. AS I said last week Michael is about to go in to his last year with the PGA so we now have three PGA registered Pro's in the team.
eBay Shop
We now have an eBay shop, if you have any old clubs post 2000 this is the time to sell them. All you need to do is drop them into the shop, we will assess them, put them straight onto our site at a sensible selling price and if they sell the money goes on your golf shop account. You will be surprised just how quick we can turn your old clubs into ££££'s.
End of Summer Sale
We are still running our huge END OF SUMMER SALE with many of the members and visitors taking advantage of the great savings. By far the most popular deal has been the £25 Sale Rail on selected clothing lines in the shop. We have special sale rails for both men and women with only a few selected sizes left in certain garments.
Titleist 913 range of metals have some amazing reductions with the driver down to £199 from £279 Save £80 and more big reductions on fairway metals and Hybrids.
PING G25 Drivers, metals and Irons all have reduced prices due to the imminent arrival of the G30 range. Be quick though as stocks are low.
Price Match Policy, Non Stocked Products and Annual Product Survey
As I stated last week please remember that we can source product we do not stock and will always endeavour to price match where we can. Your business is very important to us and we appreciate every opportunity to secure it.
I would also like to make you aware that as part of Foremost Golf, the UK's largest buying group, we can source products through our central warehousing even if we don't stock the product on the shop floor.

Winter Coaching Packages
This week Michael and myself have launched our Winter Coaching package. Take four lessons throughout the winter between October 1 and March 31 and save 15% on the cost. This package will cost £85 with me and £65 with Michael and can be tailored to individual requirements.
