Fitting news

Launch Season gets off to a great start

Thanks to everyone who supported our Ping Launch Day last Saturday afternoon. It was a great opportunity to try out the amazing G400 and G700 range with many people also having a go with the new G400 Max driver and G700 irons.

Launch season continues Today with our Cobra Launch Day, this will be a great opportunity to try the new F8range of clubs. We still have a couple of spaces available so contact one of the team to ensure you get a 20 minute Slot.

Saturday, 24 March - Titleist SM7 Vokey wedge Launch Event - 2-5pm

Manufacturer Fitting Days

To back up our own launch days I have now secured four fitting days with different manufacturers where you can be fitted for new equipment.

Cobra, Callaway, Mizuno and Lynx will be coming to Eaton Golf Club over the next few weeks with full ranges of equipment and Launch monitor technology.

These are great opportunities to be fitted for the latest clubs with a phenomenal range of shaft options to get the best fit for your game.

The dates of these events are below and are bookable through the Pro Shop:

Thursday, March 29 - Cobra Fitting Day
Wednesday, 18 April - Lynx Fitting Day
Wednesday, 25 April - Mizuno Fitting Day

Members Take advantage of our Custom Fitting services

Over the last few weeks we have had many members taking advantage of our GC2 technology having fittings to determine which is the best equipment for their game.

This is the perfect time to book a fitting with one of the team so that you have your new equipment in time for the new season. Remember that we fit Titleist, PING, Cobra, Mizuno, Lynx and Callaway which provides lots of choice.

All our equipment is also priced very competitively as we are constantly monitoring the prices of our competitors both Online and on the High street. We can also help you to liquidate your old clubs as well so remember to Shop local and support your Pro Shop.

La Cala - Here we come!

Tomorrow sees the start of our Pro shop Coaching Trip to the La Cala resort in Spain. Michael and I are taking 14 members for some coaching and playing in the sunshine.

Last week saw the start of our Bag Trade-in Offer where you can bring your old bag in to us and get £20 for it against a new one.

MOT your game

Between now and the end of February myself and Michael will be offering winter mot sessions checking your equipment and swing before the new season. These will be 1/2 hour sessions costing only £15 and will look at the following areas:

Loft and Lie Check on all irons
Grip Check
Spike check
Distance check with wedges using GC2
Swing Check

One of our first members to take advantage of checking his clubs was David Woodmansee and he now has a set of clubs with new fitted grips ready for the new season.

Anyone booking an MOT session will receive a 10% discount on the cost of re-gripping and re-spikes.

Tour news

The Tiger is back

What a weekends golf we witnessed at the weekend with the return to form and fitness of Tiger Woods. Paul Casey was the winner but the big story is that Tiger looks back to fitness and his game is showing some great signs.

He was hitting shots that only Tiger can which is very exciting going in to the Masters in three weeks time. Watch this Space!!
