Firstly congratulations to our Cullington Cup team who safely progressed to the next round with a comfortable victory over Swaffham at the weekend. Our Myhill and Barnard teams did not have matches for different reasons but played a warm-up match against each other which was great practice.

Last week saw the Ladies play their Spring Open on Tuesday and Thursday and there was some good scoring despite the variable weather. The winners of the cups were as follows:

Scratch Cup (Silver Division) - Karen Young 
Handicap Cup (Silver Division) - Judi Walker 
Scratch Cup (Bronze Division) - Sherrell Chuter 
Handicap Cup (Bronze Division) - Annie Ng

A new addition this week in the Shop is our Titleist Ball Plinth displaying not only our Titleist range but also our Wilson balls, Callaway and Srixon.

Our Garmin FREE Trial promotion has now started, this is where you can book a time to take out one of their GPS range to try on the course. Contact one of the team to arrange a time.

 

Our Shoe size challenge is now in full swing and many members have been taking advantage over the last week. If you would like to take the size challenge pop in to the shop.


 

Vets and Ladies coaching sessions start this week! If you haven't signed up yet but would like too, then you can sign up for sessions individually which are £6 each or book all six sessions for £30. Pop in to the Pro Shop to secure your place.

There are still places available for our summer coaching days! Michael and I are also offering a chance to have a full day's coaching with us looking at all aspects of the game. The format of these days will be 90 minutes looking at the short game followed by 90 minutes looking at the long game, we will then break for lunch in the clubhouse. After lunch we will then go out and play 9 holes working on all aspects of the game in the course environment. These days will be limited to six people so secure your place by booking your slot in the Pro Shop.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Cobra fitting day last Thursday. Because of the inclement weather we held it in our Swing room and quite a few members were able to try out the new F7 range and are looking forward to delivery of new weapons.

Our next fitting day at the moment is with Mizuno so if you would like to secure a 1/2 hour slot contact one of the Pro Shop team.
