Lynx Fitting Day

Thank you to everybody who attended our Ladies Only Lynx Fitting Day this week. It was a great turnout and we saw some big gains achieved. Some of the Ladies will be looking forward over the next week to the arrival of some new Lynx Clubs. The general opinion on the day was that the product performed really well and that it retails at some really competitive price points.

 

Our next fitting day is just after Easter with Cobra so if you would like to secure a 1/2 hour slot contact one of the Pro Shop team.

All these days are by appointment only and are 1/2 hour slots. Look out over the next couple of weeks for confirmed dates for Titleist, Callaway and PING.

Alison Tries Out Our Ladies Range

Alison Mack has recently been doing some product testing for us looking specifically at Our Ladies ranges. Alison came in to our swing room and tried out the latest Cobra and PING ranges using our GC2 Launch Monitor. She currently has a set of PING G2 irons with a selection of PING metals which are previous models.

We looked at irons first and Alison hit both the new Cobra F7 and the PING G Le, both of these clubs had lighter shafts than her current ones which gave her higher launch and more speed. We then interestingly look at Hybrids which Alison does not currently carry and found that these gave her more height and were much easier to hit than the iron equivalents. 

We also tried the new G Le 7 wood which Alison hit beautifully with both great height and distance. I would like to thank Alison for her time in testing these products for me and reviewing them.

Carl Heywood

Cullington Cup player, Carl Heywood was delighted this week to take delivery of some new Cobra Forged Tec Irons to compliment his F6 4 wood and F7 Driver. Carl had an iron fitting in our Swing Room and these irons performed best for him with KBS shafts. He also had his lies made more upright and had a custom choice of grip so watch this space!
