We have had some exciting new arrivals in the shop this week. Firstly we have taken delivery of some really smart additions to our Oakley sunglasses range. We have also taken delivery of some great looking pimpled shoes from Nike which are so comfortable and lightweight for summer golf.
This week I was able to gain some significant yardage for one of our members in a fitting session. Jash Dahele was using PING Zing irons and after the fitting session I recommended the new PING Karsten Iron with a lighter graphite shaft. Jash hit them beautifully and gained 17 yards over his old irons which will make the game so much easier.
Another member to gain yardage from an Iron fitting was Clive Ingamells with the Wilson D100 iron. I fitted Clive in to a lighter weight Steel shaft with a flatter lie angle which will really help his distances, directional control and ease of use.
If you would like to book a fitting session with myself to look at the best clubs for your game please ring me on 01603251394 or click here to book online.
Michael starts the junior academy again this weekend and due to increasing demand has added an extra session at 11-12, it’s great to see so many youngsters getting in to golf.
Due to popular demand I have decided to extend my FREE Game Assessment offer until the end of June. This is a great opportunity for me to provide you with a structured lesson plan, tailored to your game requirement.
Congratulations to Matt Priest on winning the Colman Bowl at the weekend in stunning fashion with nett scores of 65 and 63. Matt is a new member and earned a big handicap reduction from 15 to 10. Best of luck to our Scratch league, Myhill and Cullington teams this weekend as they bid to progress through to the next rounds of the respective competitions.
Thanks to everybody who supported our Bridgstone Ball Fitting day last Friday. Each person had their ball speeds measured and spin rates so they know which ball is best suited to their game. If you were unable to make the day and would like advice on the best ball for your game please do not hesitate to pop in to the shop and speak to one of the team.
