Practise in the Warm and Dry this Winter 

With the light fading don't forget that you can practice in the warm and dry this winter in our Eaton Golf Club Swing Centre. Get all the benefits of the instant feedback given by our GC2 Launch Monitor with Simulator that you cannot get at the range. A 1/2 hour session costs only £15 with an hour costing £25 , remember that this can be used on the GC2 range or on one of our 11 courses. If you are really committed why not take advantage of one of our Winter Practice Packages which represent exceptional value.

With the competitive golfing season at an end this is the perfect time to evaluate your season and put a plan in place to work on and improve key areas over the winter. With this in mind the Pro Shop team have come up with a Winter Coaching Package to make sure you are working on the right areas of your game. This package is to be taken between October 1 and 31 March and comprises of 6 1/2 hour lessons and 3 1/2 hour practice sessions in the Swing Centre using our GC2 Simulator. This package is available with myself or Michael and there is still time to put this in place. Cost on the Winter Coaching Package is as follows:

Michael Skipper - PGA Qualified Teaching Professional - £120


 

Martin and Richard see the benefit of Custom Fitting 

Two of our members have recently seen the benefits of having their new clubs properly fitted using our GC2 Launch monitor. 

Martin Friend is seeing great benefits in length, accuracy and ease of use with his new PING G-Series Irons, Hybrid, fairway and Driver. 

From the stats he was delivering with the Driver and fairway I could see more loft was required to optimise his length. 

By adding 1.5 degrees of loft we were able to gain 19 yards in carry length and it was the same with the fairway metal. 

Martin is also delighted with his G-series irons which are delivering more length and forgiveness. 

Another member to benefit from new PING G-series irons is Richard Aldous who recently upgraded his previous set of PING G20 irons. 

Richard had a fitting in our swing centre and after trying a number of options found that the PING were giving him the best results. Because of his club head speed and trajectory I recommended him to go with a lighter stiffer shaft which will give him better control. 

At the time of the fitting Richard paid his £30 fitting charge which I then deducted from the cost of the new clubs, I was also able to sell his clubs on EBay to offset the cost further.

Titleist 917 Launch Event 

I am pleased to announce we will be staging a Titleist 917 launch event on Saturday, 26 November. 

It will run all day in our Swing Centre and will be a chance to look out and try the latest generation of Titleist Drivers and fairway metals. 

Fittings can be booked in 45 minute slots where we will use the GC2 launch monitor so that we can optimise your numbers. 

We already have all our demo pack so if you cannot wait that long speak to one of the team about booking a fitting.
