Last weekend was a very busy one with the Captain's Charity day and the Freehold Trophy. 

The captain's charity day hosted by Gavin had 37 teams playing and looks like it raised over £7000 for his chosen charity of Macmillan Cancer support. 

I think Gavin deserves phenomenal credit for all his hard work to ensure such a successful day.

The Freehold Trophy was staged on Saturday and had 46 teams participating and the scoring was fantastic. 

The winning team of David Ford, Scott Brinkley, Gary Wilson and Ian Wicks shot a nett 53.45 narrowly pipping Gavin, our captain's team. They will be delighted to get their names on our most prestigious of trophies.


 

Cobra Fitting Day Success

Our Cobra Fitting Day on Monday was a great success with every slot being filled. Members were fitted in to clubs such as the new King Ltd range of metals through to the offset Max range.

Titleist Demo Day 

We will also be staging a Titleist Fitting Day on Wednesday, 15 June between 1pm - 5pm where you will be able to try the 915 range of metals and 716 range of irons.  

Titleist’s 915D2 driver is designed to spin less for longer distance, and with a higher MOI to help you become more consistent.

Titleist says the 716 AP1 are its longest irons ever, with tungsten used to make them even more forgiving than before.

These demo days are a fantastic opportunity to try and test the latest products, alongside working with a world class company.
