The start of the season is proving to be very busy on the club fitting front with many members taking advantage of our new technology. 

One of my lesson pupils, David Lonsdale is one such person who has changed the composite of his bag after a full fitting with myself. David creates a lot of clubhead speed and I firstly fitted him with a new Titleist 915 Driver with a stiffer shaft to give him more directional control. He also had previously struggled with Hybrids and we found far more success with the new Titleist T-Mb long irons. Combine this with some new Titleist Vokey SM6 wedges and David is raring to go this year. 

Another member I have fitted in to Titleist Equipment is Peter Baughan who has recently chosen some new AP1 716 irons. Again with Peter the key thing was putting the right shaft in and he got the best results with KBS Tour. Shaft choice is so important in giving directional control, trajectory control and optimising distance.

Michael and I have just completed our 6 week group coaching sessions for both Ladies and Vets which were a great success. We dealt with lots of different situations over the six weeks and also had a lot of fun. We Had a lovely note of thanks from one of the patricipants, Jash Dahele which said the following, 

"I wanted to write and thank you both for the course of Golf instructions. I found it very useful and the presentation most professional. I will definitely attend one of these again next time you offer it. With Best Regards, Jash."

Great Day at Gog Magog 

On a personal note I had a lovely day at Gog Magog this week managing to qualify for the PGA Professional's Championship at The Oxfordshire at the end of July. 

I managed to shoot a -1 71 to qualify in 8th place to make it through to our Flagship event supported by Titleist and FootJoy. Myself and two other Norfolk Professional's, Ian Ellis and Alex Beckett progressed and are looking forward to the final.
