Masters Week is almost here 

We are now only a few days away from the first major of the golfing season and what an exciting week it promises to be. All the top ranked players look to be in prime form ahead of Augusta with the Australians, Jason Day and Adam Scott surely taking top billing after their wins in the last month. 

Why not add extra interest by entering our Masters sweepstake where for £2 entry you will get a player to follow through the tournament. The People with the first three players will win Shop vouchers. We will make the Draw for players once the tee times for Round 1 have been made. 


GC2 Nearest the Pin and Long Drive Competitions 

To celebrate Masters week we will be running both a Nearest the Pin competition and Long Drive in the Swing Centre on the GC2 Launch Monitor. Each competition will have an entry fee of £1 for three attempts and the winners will win a Shop voucher, Come in and have a go! 


Michael Returns from Pinehurst 

As I reported last week Michael has returned from Pinehurst after playing in the Golfbreaks Pro-am. He and his team had a fantastic week enjoying four of the nine courses on offer. Michael said he drove the ball really nicely all week but said all the courses were really demanding around the greens. I'm sure the experience will stand him in good stead for the future.


 

Michael and myself will be running group lessons for both Vets and Ladies in April. The sessions will focus on all areas of the game from Driving to the Short Game and will be an ideal opportunity to sharpen the game before the new season. The Vets session will be 9.30 - 10.30am and Ladies Session will be 11am - 12pm on Wednesday mornings. 

Dates for these sessions are as follows: 

- Wednesday, 13 April
- Wednesday, 20 April 
- Wednesday, 27 April. 

Book your place by contacting one of the Pro Shop team but hurry because spaces are filling up quickly. 


Short Game clinic
