We have had another really busy week conducting fittings for new equipment using our fantastic GC2 Launch Monitor in the new Swing Centre. I had two of our members, Stephen Parish and Jennie Schamp order the new PING G-series irons after having iron fitting sessions. Both of them were achieving better distance but almost as importantly getting better dispersion and ease of use.
Another member, William Colman had a very interesting day last Thursday. He set out early in the morning for a fitting at Titleist headquarters at St Ives but unfortunately got stuck on the A14 and missed his appointment. As William had booked the day off we offered him a fitting in our Swing Centre and he ended up ordering a set of Cobra King Forged Tec irons which performed best for him. It was not the day he expected or the outcome but he is looking forward to using his new irons!

Adam Scott wins using AimPoint
It was great to see Adam Scott win at the weekend on the PGA Tour using the AimPoint Green reading system and a new short putter. He used the system to great effect to edge out Sergio Garcia by a shot.

AimPoint Comes to Eaton Golf Club - Wednesday, 16 March - Only a TWO spaces remaining.
Jamie Donaldson runs AimPoint Clinics across the globe for a wide range of golfers, from those on tour to the 28 handicapper looking to break 100. AimPoint Putting clinics are a fantastic way to learn the methods of the AimPoint Green Reading system which has transformed the putting of those who use it, many saying they enjoy the game more with increased putting confidence and putts holed.
Jamie currently teaches from Brocket Hall Golf Club and Woburn Golf Club but will be delivering two clinics here at Eaton Golf Club on Wednesday, 16 March 2016, a morning and an afternoon session. Each session lasts two hours within which you learn the AimPoint Express Level One green reading method. This is used by some of the top players in the world including Ian Poulter, Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Andy Sullivan to name a few.

Eaton Golf Club Swing Centre- Take our 10 Yard Challenge
Reaction to our new Swing Centre has been fantastic, with many members having fittings, lessons, gapping sessions, simulator play and practice in the warm and dry environment.
We are now running a 10 yard challenge using our GC2 Launch Monitor which is where we think we can gain you a minimum of 10 yards extra length with your driver. Now we have such amazing technology at our disposal we can optimise your launch data by adjusting your own driver or by using a more suitable one for your game.

Swing Centre Memberships now available
Due to the great reaction we have received from everyone who has used our Swing Centre we have decided to offer membership options that will allow you to use the facilities at some great prices throughout the year.
All three levels of membership can be used for practice or simulator play and offer the fantastic experience and feedback that cannot be achieved on a range.
Gold Membership - 15 Hours Swing Centre Gameplay - £225
Silver Membership - 10 Hours Swing Centre Gameplay - £175
Bronze Membership - 5 Hours Swing Centre Gameplay - £100
These memberships can be used in 30 minute slots or as hour slots and are bookable through the pro shop. Make sure your practice this year is conducted in a warm and dry environment with immediate feedback on your shots.
Warm-up sessions now available at weekends between 8am and 10am. Hit 20 balls in the warm and dry before you play for only £2. Don't forget to book your warm up by contacting the pro shop in advance.

Indoor Winter League
Our Indoor Winter League on the GC2 Simulator is now in full swing with many of the entrants having completed two nine holes. The leaders in the clubhouse at the moment are Peter Johns and Alan Sheridan with 22 points around the back nine at The Belfry and 19 at Kingsbarns. If you would still like to take up the challenge there is still time, remember it is a 4BBB format over three nine holes at The Belfry, Kingsbarns and Celtic Manor. Each nine holes takes about one hour to complete and it is £50 per pair to enter.
Group Lessons
Michael and myself will be running group lessons for both the Vets and Ladies in March and April. The sessions will focus on all areas of the game from driving to the short game and will be an ideal opportunity to sharpen the game before the new season.
The Vets session will run from 9.30-10.30am and Ladies Session will be 11am-12pm on Wednesday mornings. Dates for these sessions are as follows:

- Wednesday, 20 April
- Wednesday, 27 April

Tuesday Late Night Teaching
Michael, Tom and I are now offering evening teaching slots on a Tuesday so that you are able to get a lesson in after work. We of course now have the Swing Centre indoor facilities at our disposal meaning light is not an issue. These sessions are available from Tuesday, 22 February and are bookable through the pro shop.
Get your Game Assessed
The New Year is the perfect time to assess your game and look at the key areas in your game needing improvement.
This is where I sit down over a cup of coffee with you and run through a series of questions and get you to measure your own game. Once I have done this I will also conduct a swing check.
After going through this process I will then propose a lesson plan that will suit your game as well as assessing whether your equipment is giving you the best opportunity to optimise your game.
Looking at these factors as well as your practice habits and mental game is key in getting the most out of your golf both in terms of performance and of course enjoyment. Throughout January and February Michael and I are offering these assessments FREE so if you would like to make 2016 your best ever golfing year please contact one of the pro shop team to make an appointment.
Junior Academy Coaching
As I'm sure some of you are aware Michael runs Junior Academy Coaching sessions on each Saturday through the school term times. There are two classes, one at 10am - 11am and the other at 1pm - 2pm. These will be starting back up on Saturday, so if you have a son/daughter who is interested in attending please don't hesitate to speak to Michael or alternatively a member of the pro shop team for more information.
Price Match Policy, Non-stocked Products and Annual Product Survey
As I have stated recently please remember that we can source product we do not stock and will always endeavour to price match where we can. Your business is very important to us and we appreciate every opportunity to secure it.

eBay Shop
We now have an eBay shop, if you have any old clubs post 2005 this is the time to sell them. All you need to do is drop them into the shop, we will assess them, put them straight onto our site at a sensible selling price and if they sell the money goes on your golf shop account.
You will be surprised just how quick we can turn your old clubs into cash. Only this week I have managed to liquidate some clubs for a couple of our members so that they can look at new equipment.
