This week we have taken delivery of our new Motocaddy range including both the 2014 range of bags, electric trolleys and push trolleys. We believe the Motocaddy range to be the best in the market at the moment so pop in to the shop to have a look.
Two customers taking delivery of new PING Irons this week are Jeff and Sue Smith. Both have recently had fitting sessions with myself and opted for the G25 range. For both Jeff and Sue I fitted them for the correct shafts and lie angles for their games as well as the best set composite and look forward to seeing how much easier they find them. With the weather starting to turn the playing season is looking not that far away. Congratulations to Nik Sperrin on his Junior Captains day on Monday and particularly to the Pro Shop’s own Michael and Harry for their organisation. Michael set up a skills challenge for the little ones while the older juniors had a great time on the golf course. Michael also announced on the day that he will now be taking sole charge of the Junior Academy sessions at the weekends.

Congratulations to Phil Sayers on winning the National Pro-am on Saturday, he now joins me in playing the regional qualifying round at King’s Lynn in July. He was actually pipped on count back by Nik Sperrin but Nik is not eligible due to being to young. They both managed nett 66’s which were great efforts as it was the first competition of the season to be played off summer whites. Well done also to Tom Clements who won Sundays Medal with a Gross 68 off his 1 handicap and therefore almost getting him back to scratch. Best of luck to everyone competing in the Leith Tankards this weekend, I’m sure we can look forward as usual to some great scoring in the 4BBB format.
